Callander as the doorway to the Trossachs
Railway publicity sold a connected journey by rail, coach and steamer. A source page is reproduced where its identity and reuse position have been checked. Where a museum catalogue does not supply the guide cover, a related period image is used instead and labelled plainly.

A circular tour through Callander and the Trossachs
The North British Railway advertised seven-day tickets for a circular tour via Callander, the Trossachs, Loch Katrine and Loch Lomond, returning by Dumbarton or the Forth and Clyde Railway. The competing company’s advert shows Callander functioning as one interchange in a much wider rail, road and steamer journey.
About this record
The reproduced source page names the itinerary and ticket duration. It does not supply train times, coach times or prove that every advertised passenger used the DD&CR section.

Through the Trossachs
The National Railway Museum’s publicity-material inventory records an LMS travel guide with this title. It shows the Trossachs remaining a named railway-tourism destination in the inter-war years.
About this record
Catalogue record 2005-7112 establishes the company, title and year only. The guide itself has not been inspected, so no route through Callander or detail of its contents is claimed.

Through the Trossachs — an 11-page guide
The Science Museum Group catalogue describes a British Railways Scottish Region guide with drawings and photographs, brief accounts of attractions, a sketch map and passenger-facilities information. This content-level description shows how the railway packaged landscape and practical travel information together in the final decade of the route.
About this record
The museum catalogue, not the eleven guide pages, has been inspected. No route, timetable, fare, Callander wording or image is inferred beyond the catalogue description, and no page image is reproduced.
