Glimpses of the working railway
Three specialist catalogues bring a locomotive, a six-coach train and the final summer's signalling locations into the story.

Black 5 no. 45474 with six coaches at Drumvaich
The Photos from the Fifties catalogue identifies negative 4495B as LMS Class 5 4-6-0 no. 45474 hauling a southbound six-coach train past Drumvaich Crossing between Doune and Callander.
About this record
The catalogue entry does not print a date for this negative. It supports the locomotive identity, direction, six-coach formation and location only; the image is not reproduced because publication rights have not been obtained.
9–10 August 1965 · signalling survey
Doune, Drumvaich and Callander in the final summer
The Signalling Record Society catalogue lists exterior and interior photographs at Doune West on 9 August 1965, the Drumvaich interior and combined house-and-box exterior on 10 August, and exterior views of Callander East and West on the same day.
About this record
This is catalogue-level proof that the locations were photographed, not permission to display the photographs or a substitute for inspecting their contents. No lever-frame detail or track arrangement is inferred beyond the catalogue descriptions.

A building-layout record survives
The Caledonian Railway Association catalogue identifies record CRA3/7/3/5 as a layout diagram of buildings and details of materials for the Dunblane, Doune and Callander Railway and the Crieff Junction Railway.
About this record
The catalogue description has been inspected, not the diagram. Until the record itself is examined, it cannot support a station footprint, room name, measurement, building date or reconstruction drawing.
